Services
Registered Nurse
The nurse is licensed by the State of New York to set up appropriate nursing care plans for the client with physical, emotional, and social developmental health problems. The nurse works in making for a complete recuperation in the clients environment. The duties include: all personalized hygiene, preparation of meals as prescribed on diet by the physician, all medications and necessary charting of patients condition, all treatment and training of patients family or nursing staff assigned to that clients case and all other reasonably assigned duties.

Licensed Practical Nurse
The nurse is licensed by the State of New York to practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or physician. Skills are used to promote teaching to staff members and the client, to follow patient's assessment and all orders prescribed by the physician. Duties include: all personal hygiene, preparation of meals, maintaining intake and output of patients, preparation of medication, all treatments, physical therapy mobilization, and promote socialization for the client. LPN's will also provide supervision to CHHA's and PCA's as deemed appropriate and will perform all other reasonably assigned duties.

Certified Home Health Aide
HHA perform all duties of the companion and the PCA, but can offer a client a little more assistance. The HHA tasks include: taking vital signs/urine testing, helping with complex dietary restrictions, assisting with prescribed exercise routines/oxygen equipment, special skin care and dressing changes, and colostomy care.


Personal Care Aide                                                                                     PCA can perform all the duties of a companion plus additional duties, such as: assisting with bathing, ambulatory assistance, feedings, transferring client (with or without equipment), assistance with toilet, bed pan or commode use, lifting and turning of client in bed or chair and reminding client of medications.



Companion
Companions are selected to provide comfort and security. They will provide meal preparations, light housekeeping, social activities and all other reasonable assigned duties. Our companions are that extra special hand so many of us need.
